With no prior warning, the South West Lakes Trust has decided to stop offering Watersports and Camping at Siblyback Lake in Cornwall. They say that this is only temporary (for 2019) but there is no guarantee that these services will be offered again in future. This decision has prompted much anger among local people who have been enjoying using the lake for up to 40 years. Surely the whole point of a lake is that you can get out on the water? Sailing, Windsurfing, SUP and Kayaking are hugely popular in the UK and some would say part of the British way of life.
